The Open RAN Workshop 2023 was held on February 13th-14th, featuring two major themes: “Open Telecommunication Systems and Software” and “6G Advanced Technologies.” The event attracted over 30 experts and scholars, as well as nearly 300 attendees, to discuss the latest developments in standards, technology, open-source software systems, and 5G private network applications.
Dr. Osamah Ibrahiem Abdullaziz, the Technical Manager of Groundhog Technologies, had the opportunity to share the company’s development in the Open RAN field and how their product, CovMo, is deployed on Open RAN networks to assist telecom operators in network troubleshooting and optimization. With years of research and development, CovMo from Groundhog Technologies already officially supports the 5G SA architecture and has been successfully delivered to customers for use.
