Groundhog Again Chosen by China Mobile to Optimize Network

WENZHOU, China. China Mobile, the market leader in China’s wireless network market, has selected Groundhog Technologies to optimize its GSM/GPRS network. Zhejiang Mobile, the second largest subsidiary of China Mobile, is the provincial affiliate of China’s largest telecommunications network.

The optimization service is a continuation of a late 2005 to early 2006 project whereby Groundhog was asked to improve network quality and customer satisfaction for Zhejiang Mobile’s rapidly-growing subscriber base. Based on solid KPI and ROI improvement, the increases in technical efficiency and financial gains compelled Zhejiang Mobile to select Groundhog Technologies again to perform optimization services for Wenzhou Mobile.

Groundhog has a long-standing relationship China Mobile’s provincial operator, Zhejiang Mobile. From 2004, Groundhog was chosen for optimization service in various local affiliates.
